Meet the Administration
About Tennille Foerster
This will be my third year leading this amazing school, but I have been a part of the Sierra community for over 20 years! I taught 6th grade at Sierra for 12 years, my own children are Sierra alumni, and I was the assistant principal here the previous 6 years. I am a product of Jeffco Schools, Weber, Moore, Pomona (I can still sing the Weber and Pomona school songs), and then went to college at Miami University (OH), where I was a pitcher on their softball team. I taught for 15 years, was an assistant principal for 8 years, and also did some coaching at Ralston Valley early in my career (softball and lacrosse). I am a huge sports fan, love reading, and being with my family and friends. “Work hard, play hard” are words I live and lead by. I feel so blessed to be a part of this Sierra community, and am eager to continue developing established and new relationships with all of our students, staff, and families.
About Rachael Alford
Hello, Sabertooth families! My name is Rachael Alford, and I’m thrilled to join the Sierra community as the new assistant principal. I’m looking forward to meeting our incredible students and families and am truly excited for the school year ahead. I bring with me 11 years of experience in education and can’t wait to share my strengths and passion with this vibrant school.
A little about me—I’ve been married for 20 years, and we have two wonderful children. We live in the mountains with our two dogs, 21 chickens, and, for now, our daughter and grand-dog (until they move out this fall). We often visit our son who lives in Lakewood with our other 3 grand-dogs! I love hiking, going to concerts, traveling, and one day hope to call the Bahamas home. I’m honored to be part of the Sabertooth family and look forward to an amazing year together!
